Trapping the sun

She had finally done it, She had trapped the sun. The emptiness silenced though the air. Her last hope of light was in her grasp, or so she thought. Ellie had been hiding from the rest since last year, her friends, family all gone, everyday the clouds would tower over her, reminding her of that day. The sand beneath her feet slowly started to sink her into the underworld, bringing her too were her father would be. As she walked she could only remind herself of what she did, the fire that consumed her essence. Ellie was trapped, forgotten by the rest, an outcast to her world. In the distance she could see the forgotten city, children on the streets watching their life slowly leaving them.
